This website is a showcase of select photos by the aspiring photographer Steven McDole through experimentation of different styles and techniques. McDole currently has seven years experience and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University's journalism program. Contact steven[at]mcdolephotography.com

The Website

This website mostly exists for the photographer to display his work in a place he can call his own. The photographer also makes use of DeviantART and Flickr there is just that something in having your own website.

The gallery section is broken up into several catagories. Each has its own definition and reasoning for having a photo be placed within each one. Here are the definitions I use for this website:

Animals - Animals either wild, domesticated or any status in between.
Concept - Photos shot to express an abstract idea, emotion or message.
Events/Other - A sub-group of galleries that are meant to be temporary.
Fine Art - Photos taken for the purpose of them being art. While I will try to only include my best photography on this site, and any photo may be art the difference is these were shot with an artistic mindset
Food – Food photography is unique as sometimes real food isn't real enough by time everything is setup and prepared. My attempts at this unique field are placed here.
Landscapes - Eventually to be renamed "scenes", and will be depictions of scenes whether landscapes or interior shots.
Light Study – Photo graphy, light writing. Experiments with light and slow shutter speeds.
Photojournalism - This gallery is dedicated to photos taken with a news oriented aim.
Portraits – Photos of people.
Sports – Photography with sports as the subject.
